Handmade cheese has been the primary goal at Cricket Creek Farm since the transition to grass-based farming in 2001. We have a state-of-the art cheese making facility and have been progressing with development. We regularly produce two cheeses. Maggie's Round is an Italian farm-style raw milk cheese which is aged over 4 months. It has a creamy texture with a flavor similar to that of an Italian Toma. We also age some of our Maggie's for over a year, creating a harder, sharper cheese with a crumbly texture. Tobasi is only made seasonally when our cows are out on pasture. It is an Italian semi-soft raw milk cheese aged over 3 months. Very buttery and smooth with earthy, grassy notes. All three are available at our farm store and can be found at a number of local shops.
Our cheese is available at the Farm Store, seven days a week (open 7AM to 8PM). ![]() ![]() ![]() We have been certified by the state of Massachusetts to sell raw cow's milk from the farm. We are currently offering gallons and half-gallons for $6.00 and $3.50 respectively. Visit our Raw Milk page for more information on our milk and why raw milk is good to drink.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We have limited quantities of high quality pasture-raised beef and whey and veggie-compost fed pork in a variety of cuts. You can purchase either meat while visiting our farm store. Pasture-raised beef is healthier (and we think tastier!) than traditional grain based meat. Give it a try and decide for yourself!
